Fall is slowly seeping its way into Los Angeles as the days become cooler and Starbuck’s stocks up on its pumpkin spice syrup. So the question that’s always worth answering is what can us ladies do for fun in the fall but not break our bank accounts?? Well, the Love Dab staff has you covered. We’ve put together a list of fun and FREE fall event’s you’ll want to peep. These are all coming up pretty fast so don’t miss out. Grab your fall sweaters and Halloween socks and meet us there.

1.Artist and Fleas Venice – Abbot Kinney Venice

For all the fashionistas and crafters out there we’ve got an event right up your alley. The Artist and Fleas Venice brings records, vintage and vintage-inspired clothing, cosmetics, jewelry and more to the Westminster Avenue Elementary School. Every Saturday until December 21st, 2019 this event should be unique and eye catching.

2. Smorgasburg LA

Starting this Sunday in the revitalized arts district in DTLA comes this food focused market, Smorgasburg LA. Come check out some of the tastiest food vendors and trucks you won’t be able to indulge in anywhere else. Going from Sunday Stepember 3rd – December 23rd, 2018. Bon appetite.

3. Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk

Thursday, September 14th and every second Thursday of the Month you can take a self-guided gallery tour of local artists from all around the, LA area. The boundaries of the tour are 4th and 7th streets and Spring and Main streets, but some of the participating galleries are outside that area. This event is completely free and completely inspiring.

4.First Fridays on Abbot Kinney

Venice’s vibrant street fest hosted on Abbot Kinney every first Friday of the month is a shoe in for one of our favorite free events in LA. Filled with food trucks, local crafters and artists it is a great display of what makes the west side great. Talk a stroll and take it all in. The next one will be the first Friday in October.

5. Cruise Mulholland Drive

Okay, Okay you will need gas $$, and a car for this one but the good news is most of us Angelenos have these essentials already. One of the world’s most famous scenic drives, Mulholland winds from the Hollywood HIlls. Across the spine of the Santa Monica Mountains and west towards the Pacific Ocean. Put the top down and enjoy the magic right in our back yard. Don’t for get your camera for this one.

6. Farmers Markets

Pick up fresh produce, a light snack, and maybe some fresh cut flowers at your local farmers market. In LA there is one in almost every district and what’s great is you will be supporting local businesses and possibly make new friends. What could be a better way to spend a Sunday fall afternoon.

7.Night Hike Griffith Park

For the more active ladies in Love Dab here is a free activity you’ll love. The Sierra Club Meet-Up group holds weekly guided night hikes in Griffith Park up to the Observatory. Make sure you have comfy tennis and possibly a head lamp and get your night hike on girl.

8. Hollywood Bowl Museum

Did you know that you can attend more than rocking concerts at the Hollywood Bowl? They have a museum full of memorabilia and facts about the artists who have played the bowl. The best part you ask?? …. Entry is free. So if you’re looking for a fun, family friendly day activity, this is the perfect place for you.

9.Highlight Room

Hollywoods hottest new rooftop has been home to some crazy pool parties this summer but did you know that every one of their events is free with rsvp? Head to their Facebook page to see some of their upcoming shows and some of the incredible talents that have been coming through their doors. What show would we recommend? Jamie Prado’s Weekend Waveforms Record Release party is sure to be a banger. Coming up at the end of September you have plenty of time to find their perfect outfit for it.

10. Long Beach Vegan Fest ’17

Any Vegan’s here? Get excited because Long Beaches Vegan Fest is back this year and set for October 6th. It’s completely free, family friendly, animal-friendly and you won’t leave hungry. Some of LA’s most scrumptious Vegan establishments will be setting up shop of the next. Come hungry and maybe bring some extra napkins.
